Hotel Description

The Mondrian - A Morgans Hotel is located on the Sunset Strip, near Beverly Hills and Hollywood. Santa Monica beach and downtown Los Angeles are 10 miles away.

Designer Benjamin Noriega Ortiz has rejuvenated Mondrian, the quintessential California hotel, offering glamour and fantasy in a casual and relaxed environment. Jeffrey Chodorow's Asia de Cuba at Mondrian provides a fusion menu and Latin beat. Diners may choose to be served either indoors with its white-on-white interior, or on the patio, which includes a trellis area comprised of over-scaled terra cotta pots planted with ficus trees and flowering bougainvillea vines. The SkyBar lounge overlooks the swimming pool deck and provides city views.

The 237 guestrooms and suites provide floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Sunset Boulevard and downtown Los Angeles. Beds feature down duvets and pillows, and 300-thread count Egyptian-cotton sheets. Amenities include flat-panel televisions, full-length custom designed mirrors, oversized daybeds and sustainable bamboo floors. Bathrooms feature Silestone tiles, rain showerheads and Korres Natural Products bath amenities. Bathrooms contain shower/tub combinations, separate showers and bathtubs, or showers only. Laptop-compatible in-room safes are complimentary. Tech-savvy enhancements include MP3 adaptors and DVD players. Wireless Internet access is available, for a fee.
